What Is a Holster Wedge?
A holster wedge is a small cushion that attaches to the body side of an IWB or appendix holster and tilts the grip inward — which is what reduces printing and takes the pressure off the spots a holster tends to dig into. Yes. The Cloudster Pillow attaches with industrial-strength hook-and-loop velcro to the body-side panel of any IWB holster — Kydex, hybrid, or leather. If your holster has a flat or slightly textured back panel, it will work. Compatible with PHLster Enigma, Tenicor, Tier 1 Concealed, Alien Gear, Vedder, CrossBreed, Black Arch, and most popular IWB holsters on the market.
What size should I order?
Size goes by your gun and holster. Full-size pistols like the Glock 17 fit the Deluxe or the Monster. The Monster gives more coverage. Compact pistols like the Glock 19 fit the Deluxe. The Monster gives more coverage. Subcompact pistols like the Glock 43X fit the Standard; take out some fill for a slimmer profile. The Deluxe gives more coverage. How do I attach it to my holster?
Peel the velcro backing and press firmly onto the body-side panel of your IWB holster for 30 seconds. It holds securely all day and removes cleanly without residue. You can reposition as many times as needed to find the ideal placement angle.
How do I adjust the thickness?
Open the hook-and-loop closure on the fabric cover and add or remove the shredded cooling-gel memory foam inside. Start fully packed, then remove small amounts over a few days of carry until the angle feels perfect. The fill is washable and can be replenished with our replacement foam fill.
How do I wash the Cloudster Pillow?
Take all the foam fill out first, then hand wash the cover only, in lukewarm water with mild soap, and let it air dry completely. Once it’s dry, put the fill back in; if it looks flat, close it securely and give it 5–10 minutes in the dryer on regular heat to re-fluff. Never put the pillow in the washing machine — a washer breaks the memory foam down. Full details are on our care instructions page.
