Kore 1.75″ garrison belts — the range belt width, rated to 10 lb, micro-adjustable in quarter-inch steps.
A garrison belt sits between an everyday gun belt and a battle belt. At 1.75″ it is wider and stiffer than a 1.5″ carry belt, so it holds a full-size holster and a couple of mag pouches without rolling — but it is not the MOLLE platform a battle belt is. That makes it the belt most people actually want for range days, training and open carry, where you need support without strapping on a rig.
Where 1.75″ sits in the line
1.5″ gun belt — 10 lb — concealed carry, one holster and a spare mag
1.75″ garrison / range — 10 lb — full-size holster, range and training
1.75″ MOLLE battle belt — 20 lb — pouches on webbing
2″ and 2.25″ duty — 30 lb — full patrol load
Why the ratchet track matters on a range belt
A hole-punched belt moves in 1″ jumps. Over a range day you add and remove weight constantly, and the quarter-inch micro-adjustment — over 40 positions — lets you set the belt where it actually holds instead of picking between too loose and too tight. It also means you can snug it up when you hang a holster on it and let it out afterwards.
Garrison belt FAQ
What is a garrison belt?
A wider, stiffer belt — 1.75″ here — built to support a holster and gear without the belt rolling at the waist. It is the standard range belt width.
Garrison belt or battle belt?
A garrison belt is a belt. A battle belt is a platform: MOLLE webbing on an outer belt that rides on an inner belt, rated to 20 lb, for hanging pouches. If you want to carry pouches, see battle belts. If you want a belt that holds a holster properly, this is it.
Will it fit my belt loops?
1.75″ is wider than most trouser loops, which is normal for a range belt — many people run it over the loops or on trousers cut for it. For everyday trousers, the 1.5″ gun belts are the right width.
Can the belt be cut to size?
Yes, it is cut to fit. Cut belts cannot be returned, exchanged or claimed as damaged — measure before you trim. Uncut belts in original condition can be returned within 30 days, and Kore covers every belt with a one-year warranty.
