Kore 1.5″ IPSC / USPSA competition belts — rated 15+ lb, dual-lever buckle, padded reinforced inner belt included.

A competition belt is a two-part system. The reinforced inner belt threads through your trouser loops and stays there; the rigid outer carries the rig and locks onto it. That is what makes pouch positions repeatable — you set your spacing once and it survives between stages and between matches, so your hand goes where the magazine was last time.

Load rating by belt width (as published by Kore)
1.5″ gun belt — 10 lb — concealed carry
1.5″ competition — 15+ lb — IPSC / USPSA rigs
1.75″ MOLLE battle belt — 20 lb — pouches, range, training
2.25″ duty belt — 30 lb — full patrol load

Micro-adjustment matters on the clock
The ratchet track adjusts in quarter-inch steps with over 40 sizing positions instead of five or six holes. A loaded competition belt that creeps mid-stage costs you the index you built in practice.

We ship the padded inner belt as standard
Kore prices padded and non-padded reinforced inner belts identically, so every competition belt here comes with the padded version at no extra cost.

Competition belt FAQ

What width should a USPSA belt be?
1.5″ is the standard competition width and fits the pouch and holster hardware built for division use. Check your division’s current rules for any specific limits before ordering.

Do I need both belts?
Yes — the inner belt is what the outer locks to and what keeps the rig from shifting. Every kit here includes the padded reinforced inner belt.

Can I use a battle belt for competition instead?
A 1.75″ MOLLE belt is wider and built for pouches on webbing rather than division hardware. For IPSC and USPSA the 1.5″ platform is the correct one.

Can competition belts be returned?
Uncut belts in original condition, yes, within 30 days. Cut belts cannot be returned, exchanged or claimed as damaged — measure before you trim. All Kore belts carry a one-year warranty against defects and breakage.

Sizing is covered in the Kore belt sizing guide. For duty use see duty belts, for range and training see battle belts.
