Flat sizes are measured with no fill; the pillow rounds out once it’s filled, so the finished size varies with how much fill you use. The Velcro length never changes, which makes it the reliable way to tell which size you have: press the pillow flat and measure the Velcro side.
How to Choose Your Size
- Start with your exact gun and holster. The holster’s shell width and length matter as much as the gun.
- Account for a weapon light. A light-bearing holster is wider and longer at the muzzle end.
- Account for a sidecar. A holster with an attached mag carrier has a wider body-side panel. Many sidecar rigs run a Deluxe or Monster on the gun side, and some add a Mini on the mag side.
- Account for a built-in wedge. If your holster already has a molded wedge (some Tenicor VELO models, for example), you may need to remove some fill so the combination isn’t too thick.
- For larger body frames we recommend sizing up: a larger pillow can always be made to feel smaller by taking some fill out, but a smaller pillow can’t be made to feel bigger.

Fine-Tuning With the Adjustable Fill
Every Cloudster Pillow opens so you can adjust its shredded memory-foam fill. Take out about half the fill, then add it back slowly until the comfort and the rotation that reduces printing are right. Caring for Your Pillow
Take the foam fill out first, then hand wash the cover in lukewarm water with mild soap and let it air dry completely. Put the fill back once the cover is fully dry; if the pillow looks flat, close it securely and give it 5–10 minutes in the dryer on regular heat to re-fluff. Never put it in the washing machine. Press the pillow flat and measure the Velcro side: 2.5″ is a Mini, 2.75″ a Standard, 3.25″ a Deluxe and 4.75″ a Monster.
Can I make it thinner or thicker?
Yes. Open the cover and add or remove fill until it feels right.
Does it work with any holster?
It attaches with Velcro to the body side of any IWB or appendix holster, including Kydex, leather and hybrid designs.
