I built this magnetic magazine holder because I wanted a spare-mag carry that disappears in the pocket and draws clean every time. This is what I carry — a magnetic pocket magazine carrier, not a bulky belt pouch.
The body is reinforced carbon fiber — lightweight, tough, and built to take daily carry, drops, and a hot car without losing its shape. The textured surface isn’t just for looks; it grips the inside of your pocket so the carrier stays put when you draw your mag.
Inside, a strong N52 neodymium magnet locks your magazine in place through walking, running, and sitting. The mag stays where you put it until you decide to draw.

What magazines does the pocket mag carrier work with?
It works with all steel-bodied 9mm and .40 magazines — single-stack and double-stack — including Glock (G19, G17, G26, G43X, G48), Sig Sauer P365 and P320, Smith & Wesson M&P, Springfield Hellcat and XD, CZ, Beretta and more. Will the magnet damage my magazine or ammo?

How do you carry it — front pocket, back pocket, or appendix (AIWB)?
Clip the carrier over the inside edge of your pocket and the magnet locks the mag upright and reload-ready, so it never flips upside down or prints like a belt pouch — all anyone sees is a small clip that reads like a pocket knife. Both clips work in the front or the back pocket (a lot of guys run it in back when the front is full of a flashlight or phone). And because it moves your spare off your beltline, it pairs perfectly with appendix carry — your holster and a holster wedge do their job without a second belt clip crowding you.
How strong is the hold — will my magazine fall out?
It won’t. The N52 neodymium magnet is the strongest grade made, and it locks onto the steel magazine body — it holds a fully loaded double-stack mag through walking, running, and sitting without shifting. It only releases when you pull the mag straight up for a reload, clean and fast.
Is it as fast to reload as an IWB mag pouch?
For concealed carry, it’s actually faster for most people. A beltline pouch is quick on an open range — but concealed, you first have to clear your cover garment to reach it. The pocket carrier skips that step: your hand goes straight to your pocket, the mag breaks off the magnet indexed and reload-ready, and comes up fast — no shirt to lift, and your beltline stays completely clear.

I’m a little leery about what I have in my pockets. Especially when I’m carrying, but there is an issue with wearing a gun on my hip and the magazine carrier as well. It makes it feel like a duty belt. The magnetic carrier gave me a lot more confidence and comfort than on my belt because it just makes sense. Especially with the deep concealment clip. Just be aware that you don’t need to have anything in your pocket that can get stuck to your first round while carrying like this. It’s just a precaution that should be identified. Overall, I love this thing. It has easily replaced a few Kydex mag carriers already! Good job, Cloudster Pillow! The dump tray is great too! The branding is minimal.

A Smith & Wesson M&P Shield X Carry Comp Performance Center with a Streamlight TLR 7 sub and Holosun EPS-CARRY-GR6 in a 4BROS appendix holster with the standard Cloudster cushioning the setup! The magnet magazine carry is perfect. I don’t often carry an extra magazine, really only when I go to church, so this magazine carry was a perfect addition! Fits the extra 13 round Shield X magazine great!
I added the deluxe Cloudster Pillow pad to my inside the waistband Alien Gear holster, and the comfort is perfect. When carrying I am just as concealed as I had been before, but it is infinitely more comfortable, especially when carrying concealed all day. No more hip fatigue! I also added a pocket magazine magnetic holder, which gives me easy access to a second magazine, and it’s also very comfortable. I am so happy with these Cloudster products!
The magnetic mag carrier is a great addition to anyone’s EDC, especially in the summer when its just too hot to wear pants. We all have our favorite pants on those cooler days, but when that sun comes out it can be tricky to carry everything you need. This magnetic mag carrier helps you to have an extra mag in your pocket without the extra bulk inside your belt.
This new version is much improved to the original, because it looks more like a pocket knife clip on the outside, and on the inside it is deeper, so the magazine will not stick out awkwardly from your pocket. See attached photo, I use an 18 round mag and next to zero printing with it clipped like this. I will be buying more and recommending to fellow gun enthusiasts who want practical options for more mags!

Set up works great. The pillow wedge makes it super comfortable when sitting and does a great job as a wedge being able to add and remove the stuffing to tailor my fit was great and easy. Also the mag carrier makes carrying the mag super easy. I would sometimes IWB a spare mag but now that I can just throw it in my pocket like a pocket knife I take it everyday. Works great manner is super strong I can lift a full mag off the table from about an inch away and slides right out of my pocket with ease. Great stuff definitely would buy it all again can’t recommend enough.

The Pillow has to be the most comfortable pillow / wedge made, I wear it all day everyday don’t even notice I’m wearing it, driving, sitting absolute comfort..
I have tried them all. For me, the large pillow in white bamboo material is what I use for the most comfortable fit with my fullsize AIWB rig. The midsize pillow is great for my smaller set up. Save some money and try these first! I also use their mag holder and I like it as well but dont have any other ones to compare it to.
This updated clip is exceptional, fits much deeper down in the pocket and looks even more like a pocket knife from outside. Excellent stuff and thanks again for sending!!!
