The Kore 2″ patrol duty belt is a complete kit — a basketweave ArmorTek leather outer belt on a reinforced inner belt, rated to 30 lb, built for a full patrol load worn a whole shift. At 2″ it carries the same load rating as the 2.25″ duty belt in a slightly narrower profile, which is what many departments specify and what most officers find easier to live with in a car seat.
We ship the padded reinforced inner belt as standard. Kore prices the padded and non-padded inner belts identically, so there is no reason to send the thinner one — the padded inner adds 2 mm of cushion where the belt bears on your hips.
Why width and micro-adjustment decide comfort on a 12-hour shift
A duty load is roughly 30 lb of gear. Width spreads it across the hips rather than concentrating it, and the reinforced inner stops the belt folding under a loaded holster. Fit does the rest: a hole-punched belt moves in 1″ jumps, so one hole is loose and the next cuts in. The ratchet track adjusts in quarter-inch steps with over 40 positions — you can loosen a notch after an hour in the car and tighten it back after.
Basketweave is the stamped pattern many departments specify by policy. Same platform, same 30 lb rating, same ratchet track as the smooth leather.

Sizing and returns
Measure over the uniform, not over jeans — the Kore belt sizing guide covers it. The strap is cut to size on fitting, and cut belts cannot be returned, exchanged or claimed as damaged. Uncut belts in original condition can be returned within 30 days.
Wider option: the 2.25″ duty belt, same 30 lb rating. Lighter loadouts: the 1.75″ MOLLE battle belt at 20 lb. If a single point digs in rather than the whole belt wearing on you, that is padding — see the duty belt guide.
