The Kore D1 leather duty belt is a 2.25″ complete kit built for a full duty load — around 30 lb of gear carried for a whole shift without the belt folding, rolling or sagging. The extra width spreads that weight across your hips instead of concentrating it in a narrow band, and the reinforced inner belt keeps the rig from collapsing under a loaded holster.
We ship the padded reinforced inner belt as standard. Kore charges the same for padded and non-padded, so there is no reason to send you the thinner one — the padded inner adds 2 mm of cushion against your hips and nothing else changes.
Micro-adjustable fit — no holes
The ratchet track inside the strap adjusts in quarter-inch increments, giving over 40 sizing positions instead of the five or six a hole-punched belt offers. Under a duty load that matters more than it sounds: one hole too loose and the belt sags, one hole too tight and it cuts in. You can also loosen a notch after an hour in a car seat and tighten it back afterwards.

Sizing
Measure your waist over the uniform, not over jeans. The belt is cut to size on fitting.
Cut belts cannot be returned, exchanged or claimed as damaged — that is Kore’s policy across the whole line, so measure before you trim. Uncut belts in original condition can be returned within 30 days.
What this belt will not fix
A duty belt solves load. It does not stop a rigid holster body from pressing into one specific spot when you sit — that is a padding problem, not a belt problem. If a single point digs in rather than the whole belt wearing on you, read our guide on how width and load rating change the way a duty belt wears.
