Why Tier 1 Concealed Customers Switch to Cloudster Pillow

Tier 1 makes excellent Kydex. The wedge they ship is functional but fundamentally limited:

  • Stock T1C wedge is closed-cell foam — firm and fixed. It works fine for an hour. By hour 6, it’s a pressure point on your abdomen.

How to Install the Cloudster Pillow on a Tier 1 Concealed Holster

  1. Remove the stock T1C wedge. If yours is Velcro-attached, peel it off — the hook strip on the wedge can be discarded; the loop strip on the holster stays. If it’s bonded, work the edge with your fingernail; rubbing alcohol breaks the adhesive.
  2. Confirm or apply a loop strip. If the loop strip from your stock wedge is in good shape, leave it. Otherwise apply one of the included Cloudster industrial loop strips to the body-facing Kydex, near the muzzle.
  3. Position the Cloudster Pillow. Press the pillow on with the thickest part oriented toward the muzzle end. On a sidecar, center the pillow across the holster + mag carrier so both ride evenly off the body.
  4. Holster up and rotate-check. Put the rig on. Compared to the stock T1C wedge, you should feel noticeably more grip rotation into the body — that’s why Tier 1 customers see “less printing” as the first benefit.
  5. Hour-long movement test. Wear it for an hour with normal activity. Identify any hot spots.
