Does the Cloudster Pillow Fit We The People Holsters?
Yes. We The People’s IWB and AIWB holsters are Kydex shells with a flat side against your body, which is exactly what the Cloudster Pillow is made to mount on. Loop strips and an alcohol wipe come with the pillow, so you have what you need for the first install. The same goes for their red dot optic-cut holsters: the pillow goes on the body side and doesn’t touch the optic.

Which should you get? If you just want a basic wedge and the lowest price, We The People’s wedge is a reasonable start. The foam backer is about softening the whole back of the holster, with only a slight tilt. Pick the Cloudster Pillow if you want to tune the thickness for your body and gun, want fabric instead of foam against your skin, or want one wedge you can move to other holsters (extra loop strips are sold separately).

How to Install a Cloudster Pillow on a We The People Holster
- Unload and remove the gun from the holster.
- Clean the body side of the Kydex with the included alcohol wipe and let it dry.
- Stick the loop strip on the lower third of the body side, toward the muzzle end.
- Press the pillow on, thicker part toward the muzzle. Our adhesive reaches full strength after 24 hours, so give it a day before heavy use if you can.
- Wear it and check standing, sitting and bending. The grip should tuck in, and the holster’s bottom edge should be cushioned instead of pressing into you.
- Tune the fill. More fill tips the grip in further; less fill is subtler. If it pokes when you sit, move it up toward the trigger guard. Our wedge placement guide has the details.
Using It With the We The People Claw
We The People sells a holster claw separately. The claw pushes against your belt to turn the grip in from the top; the wedge pushes the muzzle out from the bottom. Many carriers use both for the most concealment. Add one at a time so you can tell what each does.
