If you carry a Tenicor holster — Certum3, Sagax, Velo, or one of their light-bearing models — you already know the brand makes some of the cleanest minimalist Kydex on the market. What Tenicor doesn’t ship is a real comfort solution for the muzzle end of the holster. The Cloudster Pillow drops directly onto every Tenicor IWB and AIWB holster and turns it into an all-day carry rig.
Does the Cloudster Pillow Fit Tenicor Holsters?
Yes — every Tenicor IWB and AIWB holster. That includes the Certum, Certum3, Certum5, Sagax, Velo, and Velo4. Tenicor’s signature flat-back Kydex shell is the ideal mounting surface for the Cloudster Pillow’s hook-and-loop attachment system. The pillow sits on the body-facing side of the holster, near the muzzle, and pushes the grip inward for printing reduction and comfort.
The only setup step you need to do once: stick one of the included industrial-grade adhesive loop strips to the body-facing Kydex. After that, the pillow is repositionable in seconds.
Which Cloudster Pillow Size Works Best With Tenicor?
| Tenicor Holster | Recommended Size | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Sagax / Sagax Lux (micro/sub-compact) | Mini | Narrow shell, lighter pistol — Mini fills the space without overshoot. |
| Certum / Certum3 (compact) | Standard | Best general-purpose match — the size most Tenicor + Cloudster customers report buying. |
| Certum3 with light, full-size frames | Deluxe | More fill and surface area for thicker holsters and bigger pistols (Glock 17, Staccato C, 1911). |
| Velo4 with light + sidecar (mag carrier) | Deluxe or Monster | Extra-wide platform needs more wedge surface to keep the muzzle off the body. |
Not sure which size? Standard is the safe default for any Certum/Certum3 setup — the most common Tenicor holster.
Why Tenicor Users Switch to Cloudster Pillow
Tenicor’s stock setup gives you a near-perfect Kydex shell with a claw, but no foam wedge or pillow. Most Tenicor carriers buy or DIY a wedge separately. The three issues we hear repeatedly from Tenicor + Cloudster customers:
- Muzzle dig with light-bearing setups. A Glock 19 with a light in a Certum3 has a wider muzzle profile that pushes Kydex into the lower abdomen during sitting and driving. Cloudster’s adjustable shredded foam absorbs that pressure.
- Heat & sweat against bare Kydex. Tenicor’s flat back panel is comfortable when standing, but in summer heat the bare Kydex gets sticky. The Cloudster’s bamboo (White) or cotton (Dark / Camo) cover sits between the holster and skin.
- Stock claw needs more leverage. The Tenicor claw works hard against shirt material, but on a body with any abdominal curve it needs help rotating the grip in. The pillow at the muzzle end completes the rotation.
How to Install the Cloudster Pillow on a Tenicor Holster
- Clean the body-side panel. Wipe the back of your Tenicor holster (the side that touches your body) with rubbing alcohol so the adhesive bonds cleanly.
- Apply the loop strip. Peel and stick one of the included industrial loop strips to the lower third of the body-side panel — closest to the muzzle end of the holster.
- Position the pillow. Press the Cloudster Pillow onto the loop strip. Start with the thickest part nearest the muzzle.
- Holster up and check rotation. Put the holstered pistol on your belt. The wedge should tilt the muzzle out and the grip into your body. Look in a mirror.
- Test sit, drive, bend. Spend 15 minutes moving — sitting in your car, leaning over a sink, walking up stairs. If a hot spot appears, slide the pillow up or add fill.
- Adjust fill if needed. Open the pillow’s hook-and-loop closure and add or remove shredded foam. More fill = more grip rotation. Less fill = subtler print reduction.
What Tenicor Customers Are Saying
“The pillow has been great. Standard size cloudster pillow on 48xmos Certum holster has provided great IWB concealment and superb comfort all day.”
— Christopher M. — Sicklerville, NJ
“Best Upgrade for your EDC setup. I’ve been running the Cloudster Pillow Wedge on my Tenicor IWB holster with my Staccato C, and it’s been one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my carry setup. The comfort alone makes a noticeable difference.”
— Alex D. — Visalia, CA
“This Is So Comfortable. I used the Deluxe Pillow with my Tenicor Certum 3 and a Glock 19 — it’s so comfortable and now I can make it vanish while carrying appendix. It’s really amazing!”
— Elisha S. — Orlando, FL
“Quality is good, the extra Velcro pads and plenty of extra fill for 2 extra holsters is a classy touch. Certum 3 conceals better now and more comfy.”
— Craig M. — Sandpoint, ID
“I use the pillows on three different AIWB/IWB holsters and it’s made a huge difference on the comfortability and wear. After watching one of your YouTube videos where you demo’d the Certum3, I was sold.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Cloudster Pillow scratch my Tenicor’s Kydex finish?
No. The pillow attaches via hook-and-loop, with adhesive only on the loop strip side. The pillow itself is wrapped in soft fabric and contacts your body, not the Kydex. The adhesive is non-residue removable if you ever want to swap it.
Does the Cloudster Pillow work with the Tenicor Velo4 light-bearing holster?
Yes. The Velo4 has a wider muzzle profile because of the light, so we recommend the Deluxe size for proper coverage. Place the wedge below the light bezel.
Can I use the Tenicor claw and the Cloudster Pillow together?
Yes — and we recommend it. The claw rotates the grip from the top of the holster, the pillow rotates from the bottom. Together they produce more printing reduction than either does alone, especially for compact and full-size pistols.
Will the Cloudster Pillow fit the older Tenicor Certum (original, not Certum3)?
Yes. Any Tenicor IWB or AIWB holster with a flat back panel works. The original Certum is fully compatible.
Does the pillow shift around during the day on a Tenicor?
Tenicor’s smooth Kydex pairs well with the industrial-grade hook-and-loop included with the Cloudster Pillow. Once stuck and pressed firmly for 30 seconds, the loop strip stays put through normal carry and sweat. If you’re hard on gear, the second loop strip in the bag is your spare.
